Identify the current and future needs of the new Chinese society.
ZUVO, China's leading manufacturer of window and door systems, was looking to revolutionize the aluminum window and door market. To achieve this, Lúcid was tasked with identifying the current and future needs of the new Chinese society.
PROCESS
Ethnographic research throughout the country
We conducted ethnographic research throughout the country, visiting households in the 4 major Chinese cities. More than 50 interviews were conducted to identify user needs and market opportunities.
RESULT
5 archetypes that shape a strategic design project
We identified five user archetypes, which generated dozens of ideas, which were ranked according to their priorities. During conceptualization, we developed a new modular system, following our strategic design methodology.
