Redesigning a product that integrates usability, aesthetics, differentiation and connectivity

Mycook Next is the second version of Taurus' most emblematic consumer electronics product. A food processor that serves as one of the company's most strategic growth levers, from which they build community and brand experience. The product had to stand out for its design and usability and, at the same time, adapt perfectly to any kitchen space.

PROCESS

From conceptual design and prototyping to local fabrication

The design process started with a clear briefing: apart from achieving a unique visual language, the solution had to make the jug, the power and the display bigger, and fit everything into a more compact and intelligent device. Lúcid was in charge of the internal components' layout and the conceptual design and worked with Taurus in the prototyping and validation processes.

A state-of-the-art food processor for an enhanced experience

Mycook Next is the result of a project that goes beyond design, creating an ecosystem of experience, usability and connectivity. In addition to multiple cooking functions, it allows users to connect their mobile devices to send recipes, make shopping lists and more.
