Design a phygital experience that brings pay-per-use equipment renting to the beach

Sloowy contacted us with the challenge of designing an overall experience that includes the physical and digital design for a project that allows the rental of equipment by the minute on the beach.

From concept to reality: designing a phygital product

Conceptual design, electronic development and manufacturing management of Sloowy Points, the little houses found on beaches that incorporate smart lockers, store beach furniture and are unlocked via the app, also designed during the process.

RESULT

A global user experience that makes beach sharing possible for the first time in Spain.

Sloowy Points were designed with an attractive and customizable aesthetic that aligns with the brand's image. They are modular, transportable and solar-powered, ensuring sustainability and autonomy. The little houses include smart lockers that allow users to unlock them through an app and access rented equipment.

ACHIEVEMENTS

The first beach sharing application in Spain Sloowy is the first application that allows you to rent beach equipment by the minute.
Electronic development Lúcid was in charge of the electronic development of the smart lockers.
Sustainability and functionality Self-sufficient, dismountable and transportable houses that incorporate solar panels for autonomy and efficiency.
Customer management system design Lúcid designed the dashboard, which provides consumption data for each Sloowy Point.
Startup with the support of Lanzadera The project was selected for this renowned acceleration program.
