Identifying the current and future needs of the new Chinese society
ZUVO, China's leading manufacturer of enclosure systems, sought to revolutionize the aluminum window and door market. To achieve this, Lúcid was tasked with identifying the current and future needs of the evolving Chinese society.
PROCESS
Ethnographic research conducted nationwide
We conducted ethnographic research across China, visiting homes in the four largest cities. Over 50 interviews were carried out to identify user needs and market opportunities.
RESULT
Five archetypes that shape a strategic design project
We identified five user archetypes, generating dozens of ideas, which were prioritized based on their needs. During conceptualization, we developed a new modular system, following our strategic design methodology.
