Understanding the health needs and barriers to accessing health care for persons with disabilities
To deepen studies on the habits of people with disabilities in order to implement improvements in the quality of life while respecting their personal and private aspects.
PROCESS
Qualitative and quantitative research to establish a new theoretical framework
Information is obtained from qualitative and quantitative user research to subsequently confirm some of the hypotheses obtained in the qualitative phase and to uncover new information.
RESULT
Publication of the first report on the emotions and needs of people with disabilities
This report provides DKV, and health care organizations, with information on how this demographic group perceives their health, as well as their needs and desires for a more satisfying quality of life.

  • 3 installations In institutions throughout Spain simultaneously.
  • +200 interactions Low impact, high value methodology.
  • 400 surveys Hypotheses were confirmed and new knowledge was discovered.
Due to the intimate nature of the study, we designed a low-impact methodology that allowed +200 people to express their opinion freely and anonymously.
