CHALLENGE

Designing more than a trophy

The brief was to create the trophy for the ADI-FAD 2024 awards. Our ambition became to design an object with real functionality, that was not limited to being an aesthetic symbol, but could be activated, used and remembered. An object capable of generating a different experience at the awards ceremony.

PROCESS

A light that represents lucidity

We designed a trophy inspired by a mini lamp that represents the moment of clarity that every designer pursues when coming up with a great idea. Lucid developed the concept, HUB Electronics integrated the electronics and LAMP was in charge of the manufacturing.

RESULT

An auditorium full of lights symbolizing talent in industrial design

During the awards ceremony, the winners lit their trophies at the same time, filling the auditorium with points of light. A magical and collective moment that highlighted the value of the country's industrial design talent.

With the collaboration of LAMP, HUB Electronics and PS21 BARNA, we gave life and meaning to the trophy for the Adi-Fad awards ceremony. We created a living, useful and emotional symbol.
