Circulight: a new circular service for sustainable architecture

From market research to new product design, we execute a 360-degree design project: we analyze the market, identify opportunities, define and implement a new brand architecture and create proprietary cutlery designs.
RESULT
Industrial Design
The new European Level(s) framework that seeks to measure the sustainability of buildings, awakens Lamp to the need to explore new lighting business models for circular architecture. From Lúcid we designed a roadmap based on a deep user research to detect opportunities and co-create together possible services adapted to this new regulatory framework.

From user research to spin-off design

Research to find the big insights

Research is designed around the entire life cycle of the product. The Lúcid team selects the profiles that will allow us to obtain the major insights and then link them to the product's value chain.

Co-creation: the power of promises

The co-creation starts from the 8 big promises arising from the immersion and research phase. Proposals emerged for actions that Lamp could carry out, some of them far beyond the circularity.

From prioritization to a project roadmap

The prioritization and prioritization of information after an investigation is key. To this end, all the promises were evaluated in terms of their impact, viability and economic return to finally come up with a roadmap that allowed us to choose the ideal solution for the brand, stakeholders and business generation.

A luminaire upgrade service that is already having an impact.

From strategy to spin-off. Lamp decided to carry out this project in the form of a spin-off, once the value proposition, business model, service blueprint and commercial strategy had been mapped out. A pilot spin-off became a reality that has led the company to have its first circularity metrics.
