A smart lock with its own visual identity and technology
CHALLENGE

CHALLENGE
Design and develop a smart and customizable lock.
Wallner, a leading security company, commissioned us to design a smart, anti-theft lock with its own IoT technology. The project involved the creation of a new iconic and customizable product from an aesthetic point of view that would lay the foundations of a new line of business, in addition to the development of its entire digital ecosystem, such as the app or the management cloud.
PROCESS
A project in which physical product design and technology come together to set a precedent.
The project started with the conceptual design and continued with the definition of the smart technology. Our digital team was responsible for the UX/UI design of the application that accompanies the product. Lúcid was also in charge of sourcing the supplier and managing the manufacturing in China.
RESULT
A smart lock developed with in-house technology that ensures total security for homeowners
This smart lock was awarded in the IV edition of the technology and innovation awards of *La Razón*. It is available in two models (Premium and Economy) and is compatible with Google Home, Amazon Alexa and Apple HomeKit.
