After the success of Shell, Tropicfeel commissioned us to design an equally versatile and functional backpack that is more suited to the urban context.
As in the Shell work process, the Lúcid design team worked closely with the Tropicfeel team to realise the idea they had in mind.
As a result of teamwork, Nest was born, the backpack for the day-to-day adventurer. An integral backpack with a modular system with unique expandability in the market that offers great accessibility and organisation adaptable to the different needs that may arise in a day.
A backpack with 7 unique benefits
This product had to live up to the successful Shell, which had won a Red Dot Best of the Best.
For this purpose, 7 benefits were designed to make it the perfect companion for everyday city life: it grows according to the user's needs, with an extra 4 litres of versatility; it incorporates the Spider Net System that provides extra space to store other belongings; it contains a coated compartment to protect more delicate objects; it offers an intelligent internal division that allows maximum protection for valuable objects; it has space for different compartments designed for different hobbies and needs: camera cube, organiser and packing cubes; is coated with waterproof material that protects from rain and moisture; produced with low-impact recycled materials.
That make it the perfect companion for the city.
