Transforming a premium design into a collection of products suited for the average consumer

Designing a switch while retaining the lever mechanism, traditionally associated with luxury, creating a new product range for a standard market segment

PROCESS

Attention to detail in all finishes

The process of this design was a work of care in every detail: the depth of the switch, the interplay between two pure shapes such as the square and the circle and the concavity of the latter, some of the features that make this switch a distinctive product.

RESULT

A family of products that has won the two most prestigious design awards

DOM, has received a Red Dot Design Award and an IF Design Award. It is the standard choice of lever mechanism without sacrificing premium features.

The lever mechanism is an ergonomic and highly intuitive solution that simplifies the daily action of turning the lights on and off. A chrome-plated brass lever adds personality and emerges from a round central circle perfectly integrated into the square plate.
