YUP, commissioned us the conceptual design and development of a charging station and custody of scooters. The solution had to be universal, applicable in professional shared use and meet a main objective: to order and dignify this equipment that is already part of the urban landscape of the city.
To meet all the requirements set out in the briefing, the design and development of 4 elements that would configure the design of the entire station were established: the user interaction station with the station, the scooter storage and charging module, the scooter fastening and charging part and the helmet storage system.
The final solution is a charging station that brings order to the urban landscape through the use of clean forms, finishes, and the use of lighting, which provides user information.
A minimalist and neat look that dignifies a key piece for the operation of the station.
We transfer the most careful design to an equipment that often transmits disorder and chaos.
We designed a solution that responds to unresolved user needs: the custody of the helmet and information on the availability of use.
We create a visual language to improve the urban landscape, bringing order, elegance and technology.
One of the biggest challenges of the project was to design the anchoring of the scooter to the station, a key element for the correct operation of the project
