ZUVO is China's leading manufacturer of enclosure systems. Its aim was to revolutionise the market for aluminium windows and doors, and to this end it set Lúcid the challenge of identifying the current and future needs of the new Chinese society.
Deployment of ethnographic research across the country, visiting households in the 4 main Chinese cities. We conducted more than 50 interviews with the aim of identifying needs and opportunities in end-user households.
We identified 5 user archetypes for which dozens of ideas were generated and ranked according to their priorities. During the conceptualisation process, a solution is developed that involves a new modular system following our strategic design methodology.
