Combining design and multiple functionalities without compromising an iconic aesthetic

The backpack designed for Barner Brand had to fulfill the purpose of its two founders: integrating as many functionalities as a digital nomad might need in a single day

PROCESS

Collaboration with Barner for a personal, functional, and distinctive design

To tackle the challenge, Lúcid's team of researchers and designers spent weeks immersing themselves in the homes of target users. This deep dive allowed us to identify more than 10 opportunity vectors and characterize the new generation of cooks, their attitudes toward cooking, and their approach to food.

RESULT

Design awards recognizing a unique backpack for a demanding target audience

The result of this work is a "do-it-all" backpack, which has won a Red Dot Design Award and has been shortlisted for the Premis Delta of ADI-FAD.
