Book Day has arrived, along with one of the most important celebrations in Catalonia, the feast of Sant Jordi. This year, after not being able to celebrate it last year, we didn't want to miss the opportunity to do our bit. That's why we are sharing a small selection of 8 books from different disciplines that have inspired and accompanied the members of the Lúcid team throughout their work.
Although today is Sant Jordi, books are part of our lives throughout the year and serve as a great source of learning and improvement. We hope that this small book recommendation will accompany you and be as useful as it has been for the Lúcid team.
1. How to avoid a climate disaster
Marc Fabra, our managing partner and director of Industrial Design, recommends the book How to Avoid a Climate Disaster: The Solutions We Have and the Breakthroughs We Need by Bill Gates.
After spending a decade researching climate change, guided by experts in physics, chemistry, biology, engineering, political science and finance, Bill Gates has identified the steps we must take to avoid irreversible environmental disaster.

"Through this book, the author aims to raise awareness of the need to eliminate greenhouse gas emissions and provide the tools necessary to achieve that goal."
2. Agile organizations

3. Stop starting, start finishing!
Our PMO, Oriol G. Vivet, recommends the book Stop Starting, Start Finishing! by Arne Rock.
This is a picture book that tells the story of Justin, a project manager who achieved great results with his team by doing very simple things. It is a guide that explains the basics of Kanban for working with knowledge and shows how limiting the amount of work in progress can lead to better and faster results.

"The perfect book for those looking to change their work discipline and strive for excellence."
4. How to have incredible ideas
